serenaThis weekend the weather was so beautiful that we found our way back to Windhorse, our friends’ Tayana 37.
Lauren greeted us from the hatch.
We had beautiful sunny views of other boats in the marina.

The best part of the visit: V sitting perfectly composed in the cockpit. Later, she happily explored the salon and even got to use the head. I think small children have a natural affinity for cozy spaces. Maybe it made her feel secure to have us within arms reach at all times.
Tig asked her, “Do you want to live on a sailboat?”
“Yeah,” she answered.
And we even had a witness.
Postscript – Today I got the following text from Tig:
With no prompting, V said, “I really like boat. I want to live on boat.”
