We are pet-sitting for two weeks! This little cutie is our neighbor’s rabbit, and as harmless as he looks, he’s already chewed through a baby monitor cable and an iPod USB cable.
My friend L came to visit for brunch.
“Painting” the sidewalk with water, a derivative of an idea from the book Games to Play with Toddlers, by Jackie Silberg.
The armada.
We have some no-cook play dough from our neighbors. They made a batch with V last week, sent us home with a tupperware full and even included the recipe (at bottom of post).
No-Cook Play Dough
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
1 cup boiling water
1/8 cup oil
Mix ingredients with hands. Add more flour or water as needed.
The sidewalk painting reminds me of this: http://www.amazon.com/Magic-Water-Painting-Paper-KN3710/dp/B000FMNGP4/ref=pd_sim_t_3
It would have been great to have when I was taking a class in Chinese brush painting. Good practice without going through heaps of paper and having to set up/clean up.
